Then turn off the grill and gather the corners of the foil, covering the fish loosely to keep it warm.

  1. Marinate the fish in lemon juice, salt, ginger garlic paste.
  2. Fry the above fish for 2-3 mins on each side so that it holds its shape when making the stew.

  4. Heat up oil in a pot and fry the whole spices till they splutter.
  5. Add in your ginger garlic paste, mix well.
  6. In goes your blended/chopped tomatoes - give it a good mix, then add tomato paste and let it simmer for few mins.
  7. Then add your yoghurt, mix it well and let it cook till you see oil on the sides of the sufuria/ on top.
  8. Add in your fish and mix it well in the masala, let it cook for about 15mins.
  9. Lastly, squeeze in lemon juice.
  10. Enjoy!

Heat a BBQ until hot and the coals are white. Add the garlic, ginger, chillis and curry leaves and continue to fry for a further minute before adding in the rice and all the remaining spices. Stir and fry for one more minute.
