- Get 1/2 kg beef qeema
- Make ready 4 big potatoes
- Get 3 tomatoes
- Prepare 2 onions medium size
- Make ready 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Get 1 & 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tsp corriender powder
- Make ready salt as per taste
- Prepare 1/2 cup oil
- Get 4 green chillies
- Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Make ready 4 tbsp Corriender leaves
The contrast between the meaty keema and the tender potatoes is the stuff comfort food is made of. Aloo Keema Woes Ground beef here doesn't taste the same and it certainly doesn't smell the same. In fact some times it smells pretty darn icky. It has taken considerable trial and error and even the occasional chucking of the final product to get me to a place where I am happy with the end result.
Instructions to make Aloo Qeema:
- Wash off the beef mince and put it into a strainer, Peel & cut potatoes into small pieces.
- Slice onions and fry them in oil till they get light brown in colour, add ginger garlic paste & all spices into it and a bit water and then bonify.
- Now add mince & chopped tomatoes in to this masala & with 1/4th cup of water bonify it, covered.
- Now add potatoes in to this mince and bonify a bit, add again 1/4 th cup of water and cook it for 10mins till potatoes gets done. Now add corriender leaves, garam masala powder & green chillies into it, now your mince is ready to be served.
In fact some times it smells pretty darn icky. It has taken considerable trial and error and even the occasional chucking of the final product to get me to a place where I am happy with the end result. Keema aloo is a happy coming together of mutton or lamb mince, cubed potatoes and of course onions and tomatoes. Made in the instant pot or stovetop, it is a one-pot dish that's easy to make. Heavenly when eaten with roti or rice!
